SAMPARK is an annual IEEE Gujarat Section event organized by student branches of IEEE Gujarat Section where all the student members showcase IEEE activities carried out by their respective student branches and to plan the activities for the year. SAMPARK has always been one of the most important events of IEEE Gujarat Section Student Branches, as it brings together all the IEEE student branches under one umbrella for better perspective and innovative dimension. The event also provides a platform to share and discuss their ideas and views with Section Executive Committee and fellow student members, resolving issues of the student branches. It is a common platform where new ideas from each student branches are accepted, as well as past problems are solved. Various student branches share their experience to the students and they merge with the contemporary scenario of engineering. It’s an opportunity for the IEEE student members of all the branches to build strong networks, amongst the other branches of the section.IEEE Gujarat Section has been organizing this event since last 11 years.
IEEE SOCET SB has been awarded with a Trophy and a Certificate from IEEE GUJARAT SECTION for the “Best New Student Branch For Membership 2017” at Sampark’18 held at Adani Institute of Infrastructure and Engineering on 4th February 2018. IEEE SOCET SB has set the benchmark amongst the 30+ other student branches in Gujarat Section. Initially, the SOCET Student Branch was inaugurated with 17 members and now it has become a huge family of 75+ members at present. Apart from best new student branch for membership two candidates from 8th semester Computer Engineering department, Milap Bhanderi and Manthan Pandya, were awarded with the best volunteers at branch events.IEEE SOCET SB has done a myriad of events in various fields like Technical, Non-Technical as well as Social events.
This achievement secured by our IEEE Student Branch will inspire and motivate the Members, Counselor and Coordinators. It will boost up their confidence and invigorate them to achieve more success in future.
