Dare to Lead

Introduction:

With the Inauguration of a new year, Silver Oak University IEEE Student Branch started with the same enthusiasm but a new approach. A non-technical event based on Leadership and Communication Skills entitled ‘Dare To Lead’ by Ms. Rasesha Rabari.

About the Speaker:

Ms. Rasesha Rabari is a Life Strategist, Leadership Coach, Relationship Mentor, Behavior Therapist and an NLP & NAC Expert.

Day 1:

With a gathering of all enthusiastic participants the day’s session was commenced with Ms.Rasesha Rabari giving a brief of her life story and the motivation behind the change in her personality. She made the participants give up their past and get more in connection with their present and give a heads up to the future. Steps about Balancing our Financial, Spiritual and Emotional Lives were briefly explained. The concepts of IQ -The traditional Intelligence
Quotient, SQ- Spiritual intelligence and EQ - Emotional Intelligence were compellingly illuminated. She also gave us an introduction to VAK (V-Visual, A-Auditory, K-Kinesthetic) learning styles model which divides people into three categories of learner which absorbs information by sight, sound and moving respectively and one can identify so many things by this knowledge. The first day of the event concluded with the same VAK assessment of the participants to know their unique styles.

Day 2:

The second day of the event began with the same enthusiasm, as it ended the day before. The session started sharp at the given time. Firstly, the speaker started with some meditation and then began with the topics fixed. Later on, an assessment sheet was passed to figure out every individual's Emotional Intellect. Along with the assignment, the orator explained different citations which create a positive and negative impact on our life. Furthermore, Ms.
Rasesha Rabari talked about the values that we possess that create mixed emotions in us. Taking this session to destiny, a short Q&A was done with the participants, and at last, a live case study was accomplished according to the problems explained by a few individuals. Concluding the event, Ms. Rasesha Rabari was felicitated with a memento as a token of
gratitude for her efforts.

Conclusion:

To sum up, this event changed every attendee's perspective to see others. It teaches you how you can control your emotions and also, change as per your necessity. Lastly, a sparking event shook everyone's minds and took everyone to a phase to think about themselves.
