The event started with an introductory speech, highlighting the importance of language fluency and effective communication in today's world. The main objective of the event was to improve the language proficiency of our team members and enhance their team-building skills. The event commenced with the introduction of our esteemed judge Hotri Trivedi, Chairperson, Silver Oak University IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group. The event was divided into two rounds; the first round begun with each participant getting one minute to deliver a speech on a given topic and in the next round, the team members had to answer questions related to the topics. In the first round, each participant was given a minute to deliver a speech on the given topic. The participants exhibited their speaking skills and impressed the judge with their fluency, clarity, and opinions. The topics for the first round were thought-provoking and allowed participants to showcase their knowledge and creativity. However, some participants were more fluent and confident than others, which gave a thoughtful situation to the judge who had a tough time deciding on the winners of the first round.

In the second round, the teams had to answer questions related to their chosen topic. The questions were based on scenarios that they might encounter in their life, and the teams had to provide solutions to these scenarios. The judge evaluated the teams on the basis of their vocabulary, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. This round was more challenging as the teams had to work together to answer the questions. The attendees had to coordinate their efforts, listen to each other, and build on each other's ideas to come up with the best solutions.

However, in the last round, there was a tie between two teams. To break the tie, the teams were given a task to create a movie and decide the genre. The teams showcased their creativity, teamwork, and communication skills. Finally, the judge decided the winners based on their performance in all rounds and the winning ‘Team-E’ was rewarded with a Netflix subscription for a month.

Conclusion:

The event was successful in achieving its objective of providing a platform for participants to showcase their public speaking skills and language proficiency. The event was well-organized and received positive feedback from the participants and the judge. The event was a great success, and we look forward to hosting similar events in the future.
