University CyberSec Club had come up with a very insightful event on Cyber Crimes,
“Modernized Cyber Crimes and Mitigations” to strengthen the understanding of participants
on the path of Cyber Security. As the world is moving towards the technology of Cyber
security, this session aimed to impart knowledge about Cybercrime, their mitigations along
with the awareness of Cyber Security to the participants.

For this session, we had a very eminent speaker IPS Shri Amit Vasava sir. He is a Deputy
Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime Police Station, Ahmedabad City. He had pursued
a bachelor’s in computer engineering from MS University Baroda and MBA from IIM Lucknow.
He opted for civil services from the batch of 2016.
