Silver Oak University IEEE Women In Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group visited Mother Teresa Orphanage Missionaries Of Charity - Ahmedabad, hosting a heartwarming charity event “Safe Touch: Safety Begins with Good Touch” designed to bring joy and awareness to young girls. The event provided a safe space for them to learn about safe touch, engage in creative activities, and enjoy fun-filled experiences.

The "Safe Touch: Safety Begins with Good Touch " event opened with a pivotal session crafted to delve into the intricate nuances of good and bad touch. Through meticulously designed worksheets and engaging discussions, the volunteers facilitated a profound educational experience.

The goal was not just to inform but to empower, enlightening the girls about personal safety and firmly establishing boundaries. This session wasn't just a starting point; it was the cornerstone of the entire event, emphasizing the foundational values of empowerment and well-being as the girls embarked on a journey of self-awareness and safety advocacy. Following this educational session, the girls were given crayons and drawing paper to express their creativity by coloring sea animals, fostering imagination and a sense of achievement.

After the engaging activities concluded, the volunteers acknowledged the importance of revitalizing the girls' spirits. A delightful spread of snacks and refreshing drinks was arranged, offering them a moment of relaxation and essential nourishment to carry them through the rest of the event.

As the event approached its conclusion, the organizers aimed to leave the girls with a joyful experience. A lively dance session was organized that brought everyone together—the girls at the orphanage and the organizing team—fostering companionship and showcasing the universal language of dance. This inclusive activity transcended barriers and left everyone with smiles and cherished memories.
