Introduction
IEEE Gujarat Section has been organizing variois events since last 14 years. Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, this year IEEE Gujarat Section organized the SAMPARK’ 22 in Online mode on Sunday, February 13, 2022. It is matter of pleasure that SAMPARK’ 22 was being coordinated by energized student volunteers from the various active Student Branches of IEEE Gujarat Section.

- Networking session
- Inauguration of SAMPARK’ 22
- Open house
Announcement of awards
The anchors, Rinkal Naik and Himanshu Patil, respectively, started the programme by describing the networking procedure to the students. The students were given a problem statement and were required to create a two-day virtual event in response to it. Participants were given a set of judgement criteria by which they would be evaluated. Students were divided into break-out rooms with student members from various branches after the briefing to network and strategize. The opening of SAMPARK’ 22 followed, with Mr. Gunvant Sinh Gohil greeting the guests and expressing gratitude for their presence. Open House is a section in which each Student Branch and their student members present their questions and proposals to the Gujarat Section’s Executive Committee. Despite the fact that the event was held online, it was participatory, interesting, and useful for future programming. This year, we made a presentation for the Gujarat Section Executive Committee, along with other SBs, on the set of issues we face when putting on an event, as well as a collection of suggestions. The Executive Committee enthusiastically answered our inquiries and made a few necessary choices. Following the open house, the much-anticipated prize announcements were made. The year was a success for the IEEE Student Branch at Silver Oak University. This year, along with IEEE DAIICT SB, we received the “Membership Development Award” and were named “Best Student Branch” at SAMPARK’ 22. After celebrating the momentous occasion we concluded.
Conclusion
The jubilant event ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Gunvant Sinh Gohil. He extended his most sincere gratitude to the entire IEEE family for their unabating support for making SAMPARK’ 22 a great success!
