Introduction
IEEE SOCET SB organized a workshop on photography by Mr. Prakash Mena. He is well
known photographer in Gujarat winning many awards and a professional in the field of
photography. He also has very vast knowledge in the model photography, Object
photography and Nature Photography.
Mr. Prakash Mena first taught the students about what is photography. Teaching them that
having a DSLR doesn’t make anyone a photographer. To be a photographer one should
have the knowledge about the light, exposure, composure, surroundings, use of object and
many such minute details which everyone tend to miss. Further he showed the students
how to adjust the focus on click the perfect picture considering the aspects like light and
shadow.
He gave brief introduction about how he started his career in photography. He shared the
most important steps in his career to move towards photography. After that the discussion
was held in which students were asked about their personal interest in photography and
how do they see it as a career. Students were then given a chance to have some
photography.
At last sir delivered wise words about going in the field of photography. IEEE SOCET SB
organized yet another successful event.
